The MOU between IMDC Hospital and Nawaloka Hospital was mainly focused on bringing specialist Doctors like Gastroenterologists, Neurosurgeons and Cardiologists on visiting basis to IMDC Hospital in Addu from Nawaloka Hospital in Sri Lanka.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Nalakan Mandawala Guruge (Head of Finance and Corporate Planning Manager), Ms. Somaratne Nishanthi (Head of Marketing) and SIMDI Group CEO Dr. Mariyam Shakeela.
The agreement between IMDC and Nawaloka Hospital is for 1 year and it will be renewed when the current agreement ends.
Also, IMDC Hospital is talking to Nawaloka Hospital regarding mental health and other areas as well.
